Stories Of Autism

My good friend Angela Dawson made me aware of the epidemic rise in autism a few years ago.  Like so many disorders that plague thousands of lives, Autism is not well understood.  Stories of Autism is a non-profit organization based in Woodinville, Washington. It’s mission is to promote awareness of the autism disorder.

Do you know an estimated one in every ninety-one children is afflicted with the disorder?  I didn’t until I started caring and reading more about it.  Stories of Autism helps those with the disorder to be welcomed and supported in their communities while being afforded the opportunities to reach their life’s potential.

Stories of Autism will soon be a national effort and eventually will become global in its reach. The project will incorporate the work of many other photographers while including photography by people on the autism spectrum.

Stories of Autism  has a tag line – Awareness, Acceptance, and Inclusion. It’s more than just a few catchy words. It’s what we want for all our children including those with special needs.

Robin and I are helping in our own way.  McFarland Realty Group will help to promote autism awareness where ever we can.  Stories of Autism  needs your help as well.  Won’t you add your name to the long list of those working to increase autism awareness.

Please Donate!

Your donation will help us increase autism awareness across the globe through our website, exhibitions, partnerships and outreach programs.

We hope you will find a way to support Stories of Autism. No donation is too big or too small. You can’t imagine how much your actions will mean to all the families of children challenged by the effects of autism.
